Home Day trip Nairobi National park
Nairobi has some activities that are worth your visit while in Kenya. Whether its for a few hours or a full day out. Established in 1946, the national park was Kenya’s first. It is located 7.5 kilometres south of the centre of Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city.
This park comprises of a wide open grassland plains and backdrop of the city scrapers. Some scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse bird life with over 400 species recorded. 4- 6 hours will be optimal.
You can also combine Nairobi national park with Sheldrick’s elephant orphanage for a great half day’s excursion.
